Santa Run character and materials:

About: World Child Cancer were organising a Santa Run and wanted to promote it with fun, Christmassy imagery that would work with their branding.

Role: Drew a cartoon Santa character intended to be reminiscent of the World Child Cancer logo whilst still recognisable as Father Christmas. Created strong-yet-simple snowy scenery using the charity's colours and developed this into a printed leaflet and form, a downloadable form and a graphic for emails and their website.

Sip for Stroke campaign:

About: The Stroke Association wanted to overhaul the branding on Sip for Stroke – their tea, coffee and cake based fundraising campaign. They were looking for a modern-yet-retro feel to be applied across a number of materials including a leaflet, an advert, posters, an invitation, stickers and pack inserts.

Role: Developed logo and branding to stand out from other campaigns, yet fit in with the Association's brand guidelines; created all necessary materials using this branding.

Challenge & Overseas Events leaflets:

About: The CF Trust needed a lealfet to promote a range of potentially lucrative challenge events to current and new supporters. As the number of events grew, a separate overseas events leaflet was needed.

Role: Originally devised a grid-based cross-fold A4 leaflet in 2003. Revised, expanded and strengthened it over the years, working with Events Managers and the print management company. This resulted in a wallet-sized z-fold A3 leaflet along with a custom-fold overseas leaflet by 2011.

Rosie's Lasting Legacy booklet*:

About: A legacy fundraising campaign that won Best use of Legacy Fundraising in the Institute of Fundraising National Awards 2011.

Role: Strong involvement in creating the campaign branding, and in designing the information booklet that was central to the campaign.

Newspaper and magazine adverts:

About: The CF Trust took out adverts in various magazines and newspapers, mostly to promote challenge events. The example below was for The Times newspaper.

Role: Created a range of adverts to be as noticeable and appealing as possible, whilst reinforcing branding and sub-branding; liaised with publishers and third parties to ensure artwork was to correct specifications.
